A conglomerate of talents from multiple disciplines, the Engineering School at Columbia University in New York grooms the technology and engineering leaders of tomorrow. In an institution of students with great potential of leading a technology driven world, it is essential to train these young individuals while at school to become capable of handling the pressures, responsibilities and risks associated with entrepreneurship, leadership and consulting.

Entrepreneurship Leadership Consulting (ELC) Club of Columbia University is dedicated to enhance the spirit of entrepreneurship, the skills of leadership and the profession of consulting, within the student body. Founded by graduate students from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, it is an official student group of the Industrial Engineering & Operations Research (IEOR) department which funds its activities.

Our values

Highly motivated graduate students of the Engineering School at Columbia University are united to promote the values that they share regarding entrepreneurship, leadership and consulting. More precisely our goals are the following:

  • Developing professional and leadership skills
  • Preparing students in order to successfully pass consulting interviews
  • Providing opportunities for students to work on small consulting projects
  • Providing opportunities for working in cooperation with sponsoring consultancy firms
  • Helping students understand the mechanics of a business, enhancing their entrepreneurial skills
  • Motivating young people for eventual careers in Consulting
  • Building a network of professional that would be here to help students in case they need help

On top of that the team is driven by the will to have a broad influence within the School of Engineering and a large number of students participating to our various activities and events.
